The Kungsleden trail was established in the early 20th Century, is around 440 km/ 270miles long, and runs between Abisko (north) and Hemavan (south) in the remoteness of Sweden. The trail will not only lead you through a stunning 4 national parks (Abisko, Stora Sjöfallet, Sarek and Pieljekaise), it will also reward you with snowy mountain peaks, mesmerizing forests, icy cold rivers, moorlands, and some welcoming mountain villages in one of the least populated regions in Europe.
